Welcome! Making things and being creative is something I’ve always loved; after making candles for family and friends as gifts, I quickly became hooked on fragrance and became completely passionate about finding the best possible ingredients to make candles with. After lots of testing and experimenting (and burning a lot of candles), I took the plunge and started selling Soy Candles as Cicely & May in March 2019.

Named after my Grandmother, Cicely & May soon evolved into selling other home fragrance items like our soy melts, and then, as a fan of making my own home cleaning products and finding the loveliest amber glass bottles, I started selling those too - they make every room look so organised and beautiful!

All the Soy Candles and soy melts are made here in my studio in Lancashire, with the same love and care going into each and every one as when I first started making.

All our products are hand poured, and made in small batches, with clean burning soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils.

We put the greatest care and love into making our products for you to enjoy; we know how important it is that your homes and the things in them are as lovely as possible.  We want our products to make your every day beautiful.
